When our founder, Rob Andrews, first entered the search business, he was shocked to learn nearly 50% of all executive placements fall apart within two years. Clearly, disengagement is not isolated to the bottom of the organizational chart.
After years of research and experience, we at Allen Austin have learned half of these failed placements are caused by one of two things: cultural misalignment or unclear expectations. We have also found both problems – and the executive turnover they cause – are preventable.
